One of the big Elefant mechanics over in Europe is selling a bike he’s had in personal collection..
It’s Cagiva No. 91, an actual factory race bike for the 1989 Paris Dakar Rally.
Ducati air-cooled V-twin, 15 gallons fuel capacity, fuel injection, kick-start, and a pedigree that would be very difficult to match.....
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
that features #91 quite prominently
He’s said he doesn’t not want it to go into some collectors’ vault- but he’s also already turned down
$70,000 offers
.... So go to your sofa cushions and dig deep!

Kinja’s being weird— But what I said was, it’s not for sale publicly- He offered it to Cagiva for their museum, but hasn’t heard back. He want’s to keep it in the “
mahout family” versus just selling to some collector that will lock it away in a vault--
